Red is my favorite color but besides that, I love the glamor of this editorial.. and the jewelry. Haha, if you can't tell from this and previous posts, I'm really into big, gaudy jewelry. I guess I'm just a little "flamboyant" myself. ;)

gems on my neck

Diamonds are boring, I love colorful gems! That's why my new love is Tom Binns jewelry. His necklaces are beauuutiful.

This one is like the mother of all necklaces:

I wouldn't even call it a necklace, it's more like a wreath. A wreath that even a lifetime of payday loans couldn't aquire. At least not on most of our wages.

Anyways, I will definitely be posting more pieces from his collections sometime soon.

Why I love Cartier.

Sometimes you can catch me perusing the Cartier website, gawking at all of the lovely rings, necklaces, and so on. Among the many beautiful pieces made by Cartier jewelers, I am awed by this.

524.9 grams of gold.
1,023 yellow diamonds.
1,060 circular cut emeralds.
Gaudy as hell... but for some reason, I adore it.

Cartier created the necklace especially for María Félix, jewelery connoisseur and star of Mexico's golden era of film.

There she is looking glamorous while donning her Cartier necklace.

Just look at those earrings! I aspire to one day be the foxy old lady that María Félix was.
