Just a little something I put together after seeing an influx of prints for Spring! See my post on SOLIDS here.

Chained
One trend I really like right now is chain draping. And not just body chains. For example...

And especially...

Chains for ears! I am determined to get one (for a decent price of course). So I searched on eBay and found some decent options.
I like this one:

Bang Bang!
Like I said before, I'm thinking about straight across bangs for my new hairstyle since they seem to be in style.

Fringe Benefits
On Friday night I went to a show that had salsa dancers and besides being amazed by their dance moves, I fell in love with a black fringe dress one of them was wearing.
Anyways, I know fringe is in for Spring and that makes me happy because these dresses are fun and have such great swishy movement...

Foxy Socks
So right now I'm in love with over-the-knee socks, a.k.a. "fall's biggest trend in hosiery."

So like I said in my last post it's cold here, which is a bummer because I just got around to finishing a tube top I had been sewing (I guess I’ll save it for spring☺). But because of the cold weather, I bought some black over-the-knee socks I had been wanting to get. This way I can wear shorts and dresses while still keeping my legs warm. I used to think they looked too schoolgirl-ish, but now I really dig them. I'm still trying to get inspiration for outfits & shoes to wear them with though...

Feathers
Ever since I was little I loved to collect feathers just because they are so pretty. So I was thrilled when these 1920's-inspired feather headbands and clips became trendy. I'm pretty sure everyone has seen the peacock feather one, but there are so many other great styles.

There's just something so regal and romantic about them. They add that perfect pop of color to your outfit too! I would love to try and make one too... looks like a potential D.I.Y. project.
(By the way, I love my friends. Thanks for a wonderful surprise early birthday dinner!)
I also love these unique pieces from ban.do, one of my newly bookmarked online stores. All of their pieces are beautiful and colorful. Definitely worth a look!
